Formula
Consists of a sugar-free, high-concentration blend of specific electrolytes, specifically developed and qualified by NASA for the astronauts. One of the keys to the formula is sodium citrate which acts as a GI buffer to protect against GI distress, which is common with other sports drinks. The formula uses all natural flavors and citric acid (to help cut the saltiness) and is lightly sweetened with a very small amount of sucralose (non-carb sweetener sold as Splenda®) or the all-natural sweetener blend of stevia and monk fruit depending on the flavor. Due to the high concentration of electrolytes, it does create a salty-tasting drink. The Right Stuff is a performance aid and not just another sports drink.
